A Savannah native and University of Georgia and Medical College of Georgia graduate, Dr. McKinnon joined Atlantic Radiology Associates in 2022 following practice in Southwest Florida. He completed his residency and fellowship at Vanderbilt where he served as chief resident.
Dr. McKinnon feels that radiology provides broad exposure to medicine and appreciates that it allows for the opportunity to interact with colleagues with the goal of providing the best care possible for patients. He also particularly enjoys ARA’s involvement with the residency program and is appreciative of the opportunity to work with and help train future radiologists and finds the teaching aspect to be both personally and professionally rewarding.
When Dr. McKinnon is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and four kids and is an avid UGA fan.
